A group project during my time as a student at RISD. We were instructed to form a group and agree upon a word that was descriptive of our collective and to produce a typographic installation in response to that word. Our group was interested in ideas of "structures" and their interlocking dependencies. As an illustration on the idea of "the fragility of structure" we filled iron letters with eggs and hung them in a hallway. As the work was being presented a member of the group cut the line holding the piece, forcing the letters to drop to the ground, creating textural typographic messes.
